It is so much easier to get the papers out when you baste from the back. The trouble now is that when I glue, I get a really sharp edge that I don't seem to get with thread basting. I am happy that I know how to do all three ways and can use whichever when I need to...:-)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18299294177485089788noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8033958622808990504.post-88098594052535420032016-03-16T08:54:40.135-07:002016-03-16T08:54:40.135-07:00Gorgeous! I like to baste from the back so the papers just pop out easily and can be reused whereas I can struggle to get the glue basted papers out. Also thread basting is portable so I can take it with me everywhere I go.Karen Hhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01166374693095867682noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8033958622808990504.post-2457485704477988252016-03-15T02:52:21.947-07:002016-03-15T02:52:21.947-07:00Thank you Susan, at the moment I don't feel da...Thank you Susan, at the moment I don't feel daunted, but I am only beginning, ask me again in a couple of months...hahaAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18299294177485089788noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8033958622808990504.post-23872093801165002672016-03-15T02:49:51.806-07:002016-03-15T02:49:51.806-07:00Kath most of my older EPP were thread basted, they...Kath most of my older EPP were thread basted, they were also a lot bigger pieces. I have only ever used the glue method, I don't think I would do EPP if I had to thread baste. It felt like it took forever just to prep the pieces so I could stitch. Then I found the glue baste and boy what a difference. Now I glue baste all my EPP pieces.
