The blue centres of the diamonds are all the same material, but fussy cut from different areas, only have a fat quarter and challenged myself not to purchase more, happy so far.
I am also really liking the look of the back, although a bit concerned with how to quilt through all those layers. That won't be for a while, so I have plenty of time to think about it.
Challenging oneself to use what's already is the stash can be frustrating and rewarding all at the same time. I have a project that I started with 5 FQs and now that I'm nearly done with all the fabrics, I'm having trouble deciding what to do next. It's really just a matter of making a silly decision but I've been stalling. Long story short - good luck with using your FQ for the blues!
